Gratitude + Abundance + Releasing + Cleansing + Protection

Meet us on Equinox - meet us halfway, when the sun is perched at it's highest peak, in the middle of the day (just kidding that's actually the summer solstice). Twilight jokes aside, the Autumnal Equinox is an important time of the year; it's the last day where light and dark are in balance, and it's when we celebrate Mabon, the second of three harvest festivals.

Mabon, often referred to as pagan Thanksgiving, is a celebration of abundance and gratitude. We celebrate the earth and all its gifts, and show gratitude for the bounty and abundance we have been given, and for the family and friends that make our lives fuller and richer.

The Autumnal Equinox is also when we celebrate Persephone's descent into the Underworld. As much as the Equinox is a time for celebration; it's also a time of death, darkness, and grief. It's a time to reflect on what we must release in order to make room for the unknown of the coming winter.

Celebrate Mabon with the bounty of the harvest season. Invite continued abundance into your home, and cleanse and protect your space for the coming dark of winter.

Our Simmer Pot Kits are made with a custom blend of herbs, flowers, and fruits to cleanse your space and invite the intention you want into your home.

Simmer pot packs contain approximately 4 oz of herbs. Not intended for human consumption.

Instructions:

  • Fill a small pot with water so it is approximately 3/4 full and bring to a boil.
  • Once the water has reached a rolling boil, add your simmer pot ingredients into the pot, and reduce heat to a simmer.
  • Focus on your intent and visualize it filling your space like sunlight. Think about what your intention means to you and to your home. Stir the pot clockwise, inviting good energy in, pushing negative energy out, and imaging these visualizations coming to fruition.
  • You can verbalize your intentions or simply offer a quiet thanks to the universe or the particular deity you have a connection with.
  • Once you have shared your intentions, let the pot slowly simmer down until your home smells amazing and there is about an ½ - 1” of water left and remove the pot from the heat.
  • You can sprinkle any remaining water around the perimeter of your home and either return the contents of your pot to the earth or recycle them in your spell work.
