When your heart and home feel haunted by negative energy, restless spirits, or your darkest moments, it's time to, as Florence said, "shake it out". Cleanse your mind, body, and home with this warm, woodsy ritual blend of cleansing and protective herbs and crystals charged under the full moon.

Herbs and Flowers

Lavender, Sage, Cedar, Frankincense, and Rosemary: protection, cleansing, purification, releasing, warding, psychic protection, grounding, and driving away negative energies.

Crystals

Clear Quartz, Obsidian, Tourmaline, Citrine, and Amethyst: positivity, purification, grounding, and repelling negative energy.

The Ritual

For a cleansing ritual, write down what you wish to release or protect on a small piece of paper. If you have a safe place to burn your intention, like a metal cauldron or pot, you can burn your intention over the flame to release it. You can also fold your intention and place it under the candle while it burns.

Focus on the candle's flame and visualize the light filling your home and pushing out the negative energy. Finish the ritual by taking a cleansing shower or bath, and letting your stress, fear, and negativity wash down the drain. 

How To Use

We recommend burning your candle for at least two hours on the first use. When burning for the first time, allow the wax to melt to the edge of the glass. Trim the candle wick before each use to approximately 1/4" (5mm). We recommend burning candles for approximately 4 hours at a time. Never leave a candle burning unattended or within reach of drafts, fabric, pets, or small children. Candle vessel will be hot after burning, so allow the wax to cool completely before handling.
